Any Arduino MEGA clone. Compared to a Leonardo or Uno, the Mega rules.

There are kits on Amazon.

You might find this video from U/fluxbench How to Start Electronics: What to buy for $25, $50, or $100 to be helpful. It has a an overview of what to get to get started and some potential optional extras such as tools.

Personaly, I would just go straight to an esp32 which is the type of microcontrollers that most people have been upgrading to over the last few years. Also, the code for nearly all of it is capable of being transferred straight over to the esp32 boards and it's not like you have to learn something else from scratch......

Here's an example of one of the "Starter Kits" you can find on Amazon and they come with most of the components and stuff that you would need to begin creating circuits and learning.

Also, if you dont mind saying where you live roughly like which country, which part of that country??? If you're somewhat near me then I could hook you up with a bunch of my extras and spare components and such if you wanted.

Here's just an example of some of it and what I'm talking about. I have collected and accumulated way to much stuff and its to the point where I'm looking like a Hoarder so it's time to thin it out!

get an uno clone starter kit, elegoos are the popular pick and come with a ton of parts plus a tutorial book. the uno is what most tutorials online use so ull never get stuck. and if ur computer doesnt see the board, look up the CH340 driver, a lot of clones use that chip
