I dated a girl like this and it grated on me real hard toward the end. She'd also stop me during every story or explanation to ask what a word meant. Makes sense if im using industry jargon or whatever, but eventually being stopped to define what I thought were high school vocabulary words it got tiresome.
She also showed up wearing glasses frames with no lenses and I just couldn't.
