What made you start to love yourself?

Honestly, it wasn’t one big moment. It was more like slowly realizing that I kept waiting for other people to validate me, while I was constantly putting myself down for not being “enough.” What helped was doing things for myself.

This. Loving yourself is an action. The feeling will come in time.

Couldn’t agree more. Not that I don’t give a shit what people think, but I don’t give a complete shit. Also, just being kind and always giving respect to new people right away until they show otherwise.

It’s crazy how when you are just never a douche to someone, they typically return the sentiment.

Neither. Like I keep thinking if I just lost some weight I'd start. The stupidest thing I have a beautiful husband and kids who love me and don't give a shit what I look like lol

Learning that if I don't love myself first no one else would

Realizing that most people and whatever they think, say and feel about me literally does not matter nor change anything negatively or positively about my life.

I wish I did. I have so much material BS and embarrassed and not proud of any of it.

Yeah I just have different times where I hate or love myself but I started loving myself because I had a way better self-care and body than I think myself to be.
