How to test my additional racism removal regex

our Subreddit has a pretty decent automod setup that looks for racism and other issues that we inherited. Ive got a new "additional terms" module I want to add. And im good with that.

My problem is I am concerned about testing it on myself because I have concerns about catching a ban from reddit. By testing our content removal. What is the solution for this?

There's a couple automod sandbox devvit apps, but I prefer using a site like https://regex101.com to test regex patterns.

AutoMod uses Python-flavored regex.

Automations and devvit use Javascript-flavored regex.

Worth noting for reference for anyone seeing this in the future that Automod Neo (which any subs new to Automod will need to use) uses JavaScript's regex engine instead.
