No paint experience, dont want to mess this up.

Got a small section of rust where it seems the previous owner stepped to get in and out of the truck. Dont want it to get bigger or cause more damage. Any insights are welcome, also open to just taking it to a paint shop if the price is right but feel like i could tackle it myself.

Take it to a shop the ppf before putting the step.plate back on
