OP took Elder Christofferson's talk to heart and went as far as to not understanding sports betting at all. 🫑

he didn't pick byu to win, he just picked them to keep the game closer than a 11pt ND victory

Yeah clearly says in the graphic ND to win, BYU to cover

Mainly b/c his predictive model says the spread should be 6.5 not 10.5

+10.5 and he took spread not ML.

Coming here to say this. Still though if we keep it close it SHOULD show that we deserve to be where we are especially down our RB1

Pate is one of only a handful of national commentators taking BYU and the points. Nobody choosing BYU outright. BYU will use that as motivation.

Well I can't pin comments, but what I can say is my headline is wrong, he's only picking byu to keep the game closer than the sports book. It was confusing because I thought he would've said "take byu plus 6" if he was predicting his stat, but apparently you take the official number of the house and than state the name of the team that drives the score closer to them than the buy in score prediction.

You’re dumber than a bag of rocks.

It's true, when a rock rolls forward, it stays where it is. Me... ? I pretend I'm still on the beach.
