I went kayaking in the cenote negro/cenote de la bruja. It gave me the chills but was so nice at the same time because the water is everything 🙏🏼🤍

Chills of being the deepest cenote and spooky chills because it has a story behind it 👻

The only way to go to that cenote is either tour guide but they won’t let you dive in or kayak, tour guide stopped letting tourist dive or kayak or anything in that cenote… some tourist have never came back to the surface. The only way to go and be able to be in the cenote negro is a passage where people from Bacalar know where to enter and obviously know how to swim in this particular cenote.

The other only way to enter in that cenote is rent the house, studio, room etc from the owner of the house, she is available to rent on AIRBNB. She is the sweetest lady by the way, and she offers the kayaks and obligates you to wear the life jackets or she will not give you the key to enter the water of the cenote negro.

Edit: the house is the only house that has access to the cenote negro.
