count the number of permaments compared divide them by number of players
last player loses the game
(on a side note if multiple players have instant speed sac outlets it becomes a quite fun game of hot potato)

Even worse combo: setting this up, giving your opponents free sac outlets, and watching them sac all their permanents before countering the spell

Awesome!
You need to have your own sacrifice outlet too, of course, unless you give [[Jeweled Spirit]] to the player after you in turn order.

As per the rulings for Thieves Auction, if you pick an Aura and can't attach it then it stays in exile and you can pick it again later.
If theres just an Aura and Phage that are hit with the auction, is it a draw or does someone have to pick the Phage eventually to break the loop?

I think it might draw because you always have a valid choice and can keep making it. No one would pick phage and you can't say it's slow play. Unless there are other targets so that you could pick not phage and force the players to eventually pick the aura since it would then have a valid target and end up with someone picking phage.

Combo is beautiful. Absolutely wonderful bad combo.
However, I must ask how is it a game of hot potato? All permanents must be chosen and put into play before thieves auction resolves, then all choices for any targetting are made and the stack is constructed, including Phages lose the game, then players regain priority to respond. Am I missing something?
