Favorite Hymns?

[u/Scared_Cheesecake715]

Wanted to see what hymns y'all like, I pick the hymns at my church and lead worship, and I wanted to see what ones are popular. My favorites are It is Well with my Soul, I Just Keep Trusting my Lord, and We Have and Anchor :)

[u/LibertarianLawyer]

Amazing Grace

As the Deer

Because He Lives

Blessed Assurance

Blessed Redeemer

Christ Arose

Come Thou Fount

Crown Him With Many Crowns

Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Have Thine Own Way

He Keeps Me Singing

He Lives

Higher Ground

Holy, Holy, Holy

How Great Thou Art

I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

I Love to Tell the Story

I Surrender All

Immortal, Invisible

In Christ Alone

In the Garden

Just As I Am

Leaning on the Everlasting Arms

Love Lifted Me

My Jesus, I Love Thee

My Savior's Love

Near the Cross

Nothing But the Blood

Old Rugged Cross

Open My Eyes That I May See

Peace Like a River

Redeemed

Rock of Ages

Seek Ye First

Shelter in a Time of Storm

Shout to the Lord

Softly and Tenderly

Standing on the Promises

Sweet By and By

Sweet Hour of Prayer

Take My Life and Let It Be

There Is a Fountain

There Is Power in the Blood

Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus

To God Be the Glory

Trust and Obey

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus

Victory in Jesus

Were You There

What a Friend We Have in Jesus

When the Roll is Called Up Yonder

When We All Get to Heaven

Wherever He Leads, I'll Go

Wonderful Merciful Savior

You Are My All In All

Love Higher Ground

[u/Pinecone-Bandit]

Great is Thy Faithfulness and He Leadeth Me are my favorites.

[u/GamerManJD]

Just as I am
It is well with my soul

[u/FrankDenif1]

Jesus Lord, My Best Love Thou Art

[u/MeBollasDellero]

The best thing to do is tell the back story of them before singing. Like..."It is Well, with my Soul.."

[u/CC_Panadero]

Blessed Assurance

Just As I Am

How Great Thou Art

Have Thine Own Way

Because He Lives

Mansion Over the Hilltop

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus

Sunshine in my Soul

Amazing Grace (especially the last verse)

Only Trust Him

Leaving on the Everlasting Arms

In the Garden

Something Beautiful (this one is more of a chorus)

[u/PhogeySquatch]

When I Can Read My Title Clear

When I Survey The Wondrous Cross

Abide With Me

Were You There?

[u/Impossible-Pool-230]

Bow the Knee
How Great Thou Art
At the Cross
There is Power in the Blood
I don’t really like Victory in Jesus because of the “I repented of my sins and won the victory” part lol

[u/Niapololy]

He Will Hold Me Fast

[u/Friberg_Prime]

I am the music ministry leader for my church, and my current top 5 would be:

• Before the Throne of God Above

• Come Behold the Wondrous Mystery

• Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing

• How Firm a Foundation

• Wonderful, Merciful Savior

But that list changes constantly!

[u/JDOP_COL]

Oh Señor, procuro en vano

Alabanzas dad a Cristo - Cristal Lewis

Sea la paz

Cuan profundo es tu amor

[u/BeneathTheStarsOfGod]

Well…if you never heard of Twixt gleams of joy and clouds of doubt…I really love that one. I’m sure you can google the lyrics and musical accompaniment

What a friend we have in jesus,

A mighty fortress,

Jesus loves me, and many more even christmas ones.

I have a reddit community called Anewsong exclusive for hymn I love and adore, check it out.

It has many classic and many new ones that I discover daily, it surely will enrich your playlist.
