Forget the form, what's more impressive is the awareness to catch your defender off guard and relocate to a spot on the court where the inbounder can locate you and get you an easy shot. Good shit kid.

Congrats on your first bucket at this level!
This is come from someone who was horrible at offense throughout high school. It didn't matter because I got PT by stopping my dude and rebounding.
My career high by the time I graduated was like 12 pts... Mostly from put backs and a couple jumpers. I learned how to dribble and score by playing pickup 3 hrs a day in college.
All that to say, don't worry about the form... It doesn't matter at this point. If you spend many hours practicing it, then come back and ask.
Until then, keep at it and try to find your niche to help your team. Most importantly, have fun.

As a coach, you ran the play right, the timing was excellent, and you made it count!

Your form looks great but focus on having fun and adding a move to your bag at a time. Usually you can’t just run at a spot to get open. You have to do a little fake out or switch up your pace to catch the d off guard! Keep practicing!!

Even more of a reason to work on those “get open” moves. Being a center is about more than just being strong.

Excellent cut/movement to get open. But you need to act like you have been there before and just run back after scoring

You did what you had to do to make the shot. If the defender were paying attention, shooting with your right hand might get that shot blocked. Also, work on leaping towards the basket or at least straight up instead of falling away. Might lead to some and-1s. Lot of young kids aren't strong enough for fade-aways but they attempt them anyway and you see lots of airballs.

Use your left

That’s a true note. Should be a left hand shot with right guarding the shot. Great cut, defender couldn’t react, so you got away with this shot, but on growing levels that will be a block 9/10 times (not even a way to get the foul). Practice your left, it will get you a very long way. Good luck.

I’m happy for you for scoring. Congrats. Keep working on all your fundamentals in case you don’t grow to be a center in high school.

I feel like you just put this up to show yourself beating the shot clock. The quick release with no time on a 5 footer isn't your actual form.
If you REALLY want advice, out up a catch and shoot.

Very small sample size^
But what is shown in the video looks good
Shot above your head, one main arm, fluid movement, wrist flick, shooting arch.
Only thin someone here already mentioned: dont put the ball down in your shooting motion. You already had the ball on your head, but then put it down your waist. Try not to do that or get used to that, once you get stronger, thats a big NoNo
Look how good NBA players gather the ball and NOT dip the ball. Klay Thompson is a good example.

Great court awareness. Only advice I've got is, if you slow down the video, as soon as you caught the ball you should start your shot there. No need to load and then go back up. Bringing it down is wasted movement/time and puts the ball in more vulnerable position for defense to get to it.

You need more of the flick on your wrist. That’s all I catch you then.⛹🏼♂️⛹🏼♂️⛹🏼♂️✅✅🙂↕️

definetly work on being able to finish that shot with your left. #25 in red wasn't paying attention - but a better player would likely be able to block that if you use your right.
was that your first basket? keep grinding.

Looks fine, but when you are that close to the hoop and on that side, use your left hand. Keep working at it

You could follow through more with your guide hand but other than that it looks great for your grade level. As you get older that’s going to develop into a very fundamental form.

It's literally a layup on a sleeping defender. In order to know if your form is good you have to shoot farther out. On a shot like this you should be using your left hand when defender is on your right otherwise if your defender wasn't sleeping you're getting stuffed.

Start with alternating layups side to side. It takes a lot of time but you should be just as comfortable with non dominant hand if you want to be competitive.

good shot but don’t celebrate after it makes you look like you’ve never made a layup, work on your post moves, be strong and use your body to bump defenders in the paint, and get enough practice to were your confident, confident is what matters most in basketball, if your not confident you won’t play anywhere near your best

This is a middle school game of an unguarded layup lol. Not much to say about this.
Looks fine.
