Look up Penultimate step. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/JYxz3xbuwg0

This video explains some of it. Good luck.

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SUEtlrbbOVM <-- This dude ( Isaiah Rivera )has a ridiculous vert. He explains block foot. Look up more of his tutorials.

Jumping is an explosive movement, think about lighting a match it’s very fast all the way through to get it to catch fire, your body is the same way so you need to start quick, get faster and faster and explode for your jump!

To me it doesn’t really look like you’re trying hard enough. You need to be more explosive, really push yourself off the floor.

Need more load up. Search up "standing long jump technique" to work on your explosiveness. Since you jumped off 2 feet. Or maybe try running and jumping off one foot. I knew a guy in high school who could easily dunk from a standstill from 2 feet but could barely touch the rim jumping off one foot.
