Yea so basically the string gauges are 140, 105, 80, 65. And im gonna need a new bridge so the 140 fits. The thing is that I don’t wanna buy a super expensive bridge so I was thinking about buying a Fender Hi-Mass bridge. Does anyone know if it can handle it?

I’ve had this bass for almost 15 years (I got it for free from a friend in this condition). I’ve always wondered what it is because the only marking on it is Ibanez. Google says it’s an RB650 but the headstock looks different to me. It’s just something I’ve always wondered about so if anyone with more knowledge could share any information with me I would really appreciate it. Thank you all!

And yeah that's how learning works.
That's 2 volumes and a 3-way selector switch. The red is hot, blue is components, black is ground.

Jamming with this background track: https://simplejamstudio.com/sketch/34b607c3-7348-4ab9-816c-d47345ec770b
It's a jam over suspended and dominant chords. You'll hear it twice: C → Csus2 → C7 sets up the move to F, and later G7sus4 → G7.

Lovely tone from the MDM1000. New strings, Dunlop Steels Super Bright 40-100. Ran through a flat Sans Amp with tone rolled down to about 25%

Anyone else made this experimental combo?
I’ve done this before with active emgs but I wanted a passive option, now it’s much more versatile ;)

Is there any way to identify a bass body to tell for certain if these are made by Fender?

Hi everyone! This is my first post here.
I have this ESP bass, but I can't find a serial number or model ID on it (there's nothing on the headstock). I bought it 7 years ago from someone who didn't play it, and it had been sitting in a closet for years before I got it.
The only thing I know is that it might be an ESP Horizon Bass from the '80s or '90s (made in Japan).
Where can I find more information about this specific model? Also, how much do you think it might be worth?
Thank you!

Was given this bass a few years ago and finally thinking of learning, but it has some damages. I have some ideas on how to fix it up but not sure if it would effect anything. My main problem is the area in the 2nd picture, because all the other problems seem to be fixable with new parts.

Got a call from my favorite guitar shop about an interesting Schecter bass turned in. A bass that was bought new... and stayed in a case. After getting to spend time with it, it felt like a new bass not broken in. Loved the sound and feel of it. Reminds a bit of my 2017 Schecter Session-T and a Fender P/J bass. A good deal lighter than my other Schecter.
I wasn't planning and a new bass, but didn't want to let it go either. Merry early Christmas to me. 😂
I guess this makes me a Schecter bass fan.

Of course the SP1s are great, and this one in the Green/Maple was on my list - overall, it does it's thing, and to me, sounds pretty great. It's main PJ Bass, and is a winner for sure.
