Nope they never really did. Pac was def inspired by 415. D.U. used to record after them in an SF studio, that’s when he met RR.

They lost the momentum when Rich went to jail, then messed things up further by releasing music without him while he was locked up. I still listen to the RR solo albums and that first album.

Snoop warren and Nate is on record saying 415 was the inspiration.

And yes 415 is respected.

I mean is that enough tho? They bit styles and gave credit 30+ years later

I think Rich did. The other guys were kind of forgotten.

One of my favorite albums of all time, I've probably played this more than any other album in my life...

They’re legends. I could do without RR live streaming himself making smoothies every morning now tho 😂

You are right. At one point all the East Bay was 510 but split again in 1998 with 925. 415 + 510 = 925.

It was all 415 back in the day. Sacramento to Bakersfield. Some areas got broken off up in Sac in the mid 1950s, then the East Bay got broken off to 510 in 1991.

Go slap Mac Ted “415 to the 510” on YouTube. Explains the whole thing. It’s a blapper fr
