this is literally what's in the video. It's vertical when there's a better vertical picture and horizontal when the picture benefits from being horizontal. Switching midway makes little to no difference to having it horizontal since the beginning.
And about using vertical platforms, yeah they should've asked you where exactly they should attempt gaining their following. Screw using what they want to use, they should instead do things your way just because. Oh and of course screw vertical platforms being by far the most popular and viable option for short content, just screw it all.

My opinion isn't what matters for vertical video it's just down to basic human anatomy. You know, the stuff almost every single human every born in the history of Earth has in common. It's the eyes, there being two of them, and the two being horizontal to each other on our faces.

I've even said about rotating a phone to watch horizontal videos, meaning my phone is normally vertical. My phone is vertical at all times except for recording video and watching horizontal video.
Just buy your horse blinders already, even with those on you can't possible look more dumb than you already do. They might also serve as a warning to other that aren't expecting such nonsense to flow from you.
Those are examples of vertical content and CLEAR examples that human eyes can handle vertical picture just fine.
