How well does Togo compare to Benin?

Culturally and ethnically both countries are very similar but how well does Togo compare to Benin in infrastructure, voodoo, tourism, popularity, and history?

The government invests a lot less in tourism than the Beninese government. It’s still a great county and worth a visit though. GDPs are similar. There are some good roads but not everywhere obviously. Voodoo is present as well, especially in the region neighbouring Benin. Popularity - less than Benin, but popular with who? Not sure what you mean by that. History is obviously different as well, it was never a French colony like Benin, it was a German protectorate first and then divided between British and French-administered mandates (later parts of Ghana and Togo)
