PPPD
So do a lot folks in here also have PPPD? These two conditions seem to go hand in hand, but not sure which causes which.

Yep they do indeed go hand in hand. I am in vision therapy and have prisms. I find acupuncture really helpful too.

Do you find the vision therapy helpful? Is it very similar to vestibular therapy? I’m assuming the both use similar things like eye tracking but maybe not

Vision therapy helps strengthen how our eyes focus, track objects, and work together as a team, while vestibular therapy focuses on the connection between the inner ear, brain, and eye movements to support balance and spatial orientation. I found vestibular therapy helpful when my dizziness was bad, particularly with feeling more aware of my surroundings and more steady and oriented in my body. Vision therapy has helped reduce my dizziness and made my eyes feel less jumpy.

I have both. Started with BVD as I felt my eyes were having the most issues at the time. My specialist advised me to get vestibular testing as I was still dealing with my symptoms even after prisms and vision therapy. Was diagnosed with PPPD and a few other vestibular disorders and started therapy for that.
