Prisms not working?

Hey guys! So I got a prescription for prism glasses (with the low distance/astigmatism prescription I always had) early this year and they initially helped, but now I’m noticing my vision is almost as bad with my glasses on as off ? Things are very slightly clearer but not super crisp and I’m noticing the same headaches that I get when not wearing glasses (to the point where I just don’t wear them when I don’t need to, because at least I have nothing on my face). I just feel like I can’t see perfectly and it’s driving me crazy even though I have no big issues with my actual sight (e.g. I can make out most things except the smallest letters). I also don’t feel the big difference with prisms that many people here have. Do I just need a new prescription or is there something else I should look into? I feel like my eyes are constantly tired and it’s making me feel tired all the time.

People often need adjustments especially in the first year.

It's normal to need 2 or 3 prescription changes, and it seems you are way past due for it. I'd go back for a reassessment and see what the doctor has to say.

Ugh if only it wasn’t so expensive lol. I’m definitely noticing my eyes slipping out of alignment a lot, and apparently the prescription was weak to begin with (my measured prescription was too strong to start with apparently). Lol if only this was easier

I completely understand! I've gone through quite a few prescription changes and a couple changes in specialists too....the cost for all of that is insane 😭
