I was living in Bed Sty Brooklyn when he was elected, both times. But the first time, I will never forget when they announced him president, the streets came alive in celebration. People cheering, church bells ringing, brought tears of joy to my eyes. It was one of the few moments I was proud of my country and grateful I was there to witness it.
Same I was in Atlanta, Auburn Ave was completely flooded, everyone honking. I was in college and people were out on the streets downtown cheering and hugging. Never ever seen anything like it or since
This account trolls. Interesting thing though is that just like this post, they don’t ever seem to be able to use proper grammar. They’re likely one or more of the following: illiterate, an immigrant from a non-English speaking country, a paid troll from another country (India, Russia?), just another bot that’s programmed with poor grammar to make it seem more realistic.
A sad and failed attempt at whataboutism. It's sadly pretty successful, as our country has decided that it's okay to purity test liberal politicians and think that somehow voting in absolute dumpster fires will "teach them a lesson".
