Question Anyone had Google site approval take 3+ weeks?

I’m currently going through Mediavine onboarding and I’m basically at the last step now.
I’ve already completed the identity verification, received my PIN, and my Google site approval review started on September 11. It’s still pending with no change, so it’s getting close to 3 weeks now.
Has anyone here gone through Mediavine onboarding recently? How long did the Google site approval part take for you? I’m mostly just trying to figure out whether this kind of wait is still normal.

What do you mean Google site?

Someone waited 3 months.

I mean the Google MCM review. I’m being added as a child publisher through Mediavine, and the site approval has been pending for almost 3 weeks now.

I went through this a few months ago.

I accepted the MCM (three weeks for the pin to arrive), Mediavine then told me Google Ads rejected my site so we had to wait for their support ticket. That took even longer.

During that time I applied to Raptive on a Friday, got accepted on Monday. They got me approved via their Google contact the same day and I had ads on my site the next day.

I’d ask your onboarding contact to confirm the review is still active and whether they see any action needed from you. A pending status alone won’t tell you much about the timeline.

I have a blog on Journey with 200k+ page views. I wasn’t happy with the RPM lately and applied to Adsense last week and it got approved literally the next day.

3 weeks isn't unusual — TheMinuette2010 in this thread waited 3 months. Two things I'd do: (1) ask your onboarding contact to confirm the review is still active, as UsefulFisherman1958 suggested; (2) double-check the Mediavine ads.txt lines are correctly in place on your domain — a missing or malformed ads.txt can silently stall the Google/MCM site review.
