This is my TV animation shelf and my Walmart stocked the Adventure Time set early. Why tf is it DVD sized? 😔

It was supposed to come out on october 23 (in France), but I found it in store yesterday.

Trash or movie night worthy?

Hi, Team! Some time ago, I bought this really fun VHS-style Australian Blu-Ray set of Jurassic Park.

I later decided to upgrade to 4K, but I wasn't really happy with the available boxsets' cover art, so I found a listing on eBay for the 4K discs only for about 15 EUR. The seller sent them to me in disc trays for dual Amaray cases, so I decided I could attach them to my Blu-ray set. So I chain-linked them, using black links from a broken 9-disc Amaray case. I cut them in half so I can link all three trays so they can be flipped like pages. Then, I used a silicone double-sided 3M tape to attach the lowest tray to the inside of the boxset. The tape leaves no residue, so the mod can be easily reverted, if needed.

As a final addition, I stuck an HDR sticker on the front (honestly, to remind me that the 4K discs are in there).

I think it turned out pretty well. What do you think?

And, overall, what do you think of applying mods on editions, if you think such are needed?

When your local physical media resale store has amazing deals. I can't wait to go back. Some of these movies were 1.99-3.99.

Dawn of the dead and American werewolf were Barnes and Noble and were 40% each. It was a bit of a surprise because American werewolf is only 10% off on the website. I broke my "no online shopping" rule for the next two, but I couldn't NOT get tremors at such a discount and I needed something else to get free shipping. So I got 12 monkeys. From the social network to super 8 were Savers. All sealed, two of them were used blu ray price, and rewards were activated for another $5 off. Then the top three were from the Salvation Army. Edge of tomorrow is still sealed. I'm now at 622 movies.

I had a long baseball tournament today, but after that I really wanted to check out the new shop in my area Atomic Sound! It really had a good selection of 4k movies and Blu Ray.

I picked up Dumbo a couple of days ago from another shop, and the other 3 are from Atomic Sound. I actually didn't know they had a Final Destination 6 pack so that was a win in itself.

Pretty happy to add a few more to the collection!

Heyo, so sat down to watch Biutiful and unfortunately realized it has these ugly yellow English subtitles always on, can't seem to disable them :(. I am a native Spanish speaker, so does anyone know of any version that doesn't have them?

Going off of blu-ray.com, it states the US and UK version of the Blu-Ray have forced subs. There is a Spain and Mexico version, but I am having trouble finding a copy to purchase from those regions. Ofher regions such as Canada and Germany state they don't have forced subtitles, but I am not sure how true that is. If anyone has a copy from a different region to confirm, that would be appreciated! Ty in advance!

There's a very rare Bluray I've been trying to hunt down for years. I finally found a copy on eBay and immediately purchased it. However, upon receiving it, it looks like a fake (the cover looks like a low quality printing). Is there an easy way to confirm whether what I purchased is a legit copy? I haven't opened it yet.
