1845 -1860s this variant is highly desirable value around 150-300 depending on buyer

This variant is closer to the 1860s as the 1840s verified had open pontil marks on bottom

Lol I’m just messing with you, I’m pumped about it. It’s my favorite bottle of all the ones I found, it’s priceless to me. I’ll ask the privy gods to redirect some of my luck toward the train dumps

I’m gonna disagree with that price estimate, the only other example I could dig up was an earlier pontiled version in aqua that went for $1600 at Hecklers. Yours is indeed circa 1860’s but that color is extremely desirable for earlier applied top medicines, and with how rare that bottle is I wouldn’t be surprised if it broke the $1k mark at auction so long as it’s free from serious damage. Incredible find

Hell any bottle worth more than $100 you are doing good, obviously there are bottles that go for much more but most are much less.

Actually, about the 350 Mark is where this Bottle lies as far as price.. it is 1860s era and you can tell by the mold sea or key mold base and applied lip.
The condition isn’t mint, so it does detract from a high collecting point. The earlier pontiled variation changes price.. still a very desirable Bottle . If you ever want to sell, let me know enjoy.🤙🏻

I couldn’t find a flat base example online, only open pontil examples so in my mind mine is extra super rare. Starting bid - 6,000 😊

What defect are you seeing? I don’t see a chip, scratch, crack, or anything else wrong with it. Besides, of course, being the ultra-super-über-rare flat-base variant.

There’s no defect it just looks like it needs cleaned.

The base is called a key mold base..
