Age/date request I found this in the creek today. Almost didn’t even pick it up when I first saw it. This is my first one of these Warner’s Safe bottles. How old are these bottles? I heard that they had to stop embossing “cure” on it and instead embossed “remedy” in 1906.

These were partially buried in sand/mud in the mangroves on the Atlantic coastline. Any ideas on their age or origin?

I bought this at an estate sale that had lots of other old and apparently dug-up bottles, but this was clearly the oldest. Google says late 1800s - is that a good estimate for this bottle?

I'm also wondering about the origin; any info is greatly appreciated!

(Bonus cat tax - Ronald Weasly was very curious)

Little pigment bottles that at first I thought might be from the early 1900s, but I can’t see any seams or true maker’s marks/stamps, and the bottles don’t seem uniform— they have little imperfections, like they’re all a bit different from each other! Any ideas? I’ll take anything tbh, the guy I purchased them from didn’t know when they were from. :(

Just curious about this bottle. It doesn’t look that old to me I’d still like to get an opinion on the age and what’s in it.

Two bottles found in the middle of the woods, what are they?

The larger glass bottle has a 36 stamped on the bottom, and dots on the bottom side, it also has molding lines which means it can't possibly be that old.

The smaller bottle has a textured bottom with the numbers "18" seperated by a circle that looks kind of like a face and "95" with 11 BW-2 under it.

Bottle 1 SOLVED (maybe): Either Vanilla extract OR Mapleine

Basically what it says on the title! Mom 'n I found these bottles while doin' a deep cleanin' of the house (we are throwin' away a LOT), and found these.

Most likely they were Grandpa's, and since no one here drinks, we were curious 'bout their age, and if they are worth anythin'.

Either way, it's a cool find methinks!

Tried to find 'bout 'em online, but I honestly didn't understand most of it, I DID notice that the modern labels are different, even if slightly! If there's a better place to ask this, please tell me!

Age/date request How old is this bottle?

Hello! I found this bottle unexpectedly in the wild. I honestly thought it was a mass-produced piece of junk at first, because of the color. But, I inspected it more closely, and it has the makings of antique glassware. (Most notably the imperfections, micro bubbles, etc.) I've never seen an antique glass bottle so purple, and a quick image search told me that manganese glass can turn purple when exposed to UV light for a prolonged amount of time. Supposedly this bottle can glow, but I tried my 395 black light on it and I couldn't tell if it had the faintest trace of glow or not. (I'm on vacation and sadly, I didn't bring my 365 light with me; manganese purportedly glows better under 365.)

Anyway, I'm wondering if somebody out there might be able to help me narrow down a time frame for when this bottle could have been produced. Google supposes that this bottle could date anywhere from the [mid-1800s](https://sites.uw.edu/gonzalsa/2015/05/13/it-may-not-be-diagnostic-but-its-a-rad-design-the-crescent-moon-owl-bottle-story/) to early 1900s.

Is this even manganese glass? Could it just be purple-colored?

I was metal detecting today in western PA / North eastern OH and i came across a bunch of these bottles in the woods. Im not sure about the year or if I should clean them? Any value or just junk? Some of them say youngstown OH and one of them say Sharon PA. But no year.

It's hard to tell if the bottom is a pontil mark or not, it's fairly smooth but it has about a 1" ring around it.

I don’t know too much about it aside from the glass feeling very thin and Fahrney becoming & sons later on before prohibition killed the company. Intact cork too, pretty cool. He found it in a giant pile of rocks and it’s crazy it was intact.
