Got this rare drop
Just finished the last trial for the master swird and i immediately went and fought a silver lynel and when i killed it... dropped this. So uh what should i do with it?

If that's your highest, I'd say save it for lynels only. When you're fighting them, mount them and attack them with this. Whenever you attack them this way, whatever weapon you are attacking them with won't lose any durability. Pop a +3 attack meal and you'll be able to take em down wicked fast 👍👍

Yep, I don’t have a sword this strong yet but this would 100% become my Lynel-mounting only weapon

Go to Hyrule Castle often and grind. It has top tier weapons and elemental arrows!

If you have your ancient gear to at least a 2 tier using a 75 guardian weapon would work faster. Or Barbarian gear with a 100+ royal guard claymore. But yeah definitely a good drop!

That's a good assumption. The poster saying they just finished the last trial for the Master sword made me think they were. I hated the Beginning trials on Master mode! Lol

The yellow modifier on the Savge Lynel Sword is actually one of the last modifiers to appear, based on the game's XP system, iirc. So OP is definitely far in the game!

Oh yeah that's true. Haven't played in a bit totally forgot about that. Unless they're just going around beating everyone up and not doing any actual missions haha

Dw, was js making a silly joke. I'd actually be down for this kind of challenge, especially with the fact that i've defeated a Lynel with a tree branch before (if you know how that type of combat works, yes, it's possible without having it breaking), so i'd be just fine without that sword. It actually makes the challenge too easy to be a real challenge, since i wouldn't mind getting rid of the sword all that much.

I got a Lynel crusher a few days ago and it had the full +42 attack. Made it do over 100 damage. Literally best weapon I’ve got

Im only hunting the silver lynels because of the gemstones they drop and a chance for a star fragment to drop. Im also gonna hunt rare stone talus and the 3 moldugas every blood moon

So I've done all of the main missions and got every single shrine for max hearts. I asked what should i do with it because Ive never had a rare drop like this before. Also i do have the yes and the shield and sword are framed. The shield was 1 point away from 84 guard. Same lynel to, i posted that as well

max is +42, so you got very lucky. i would keep it for a boss fight if you haven’t finished those, or just put it in your house as a cool little flex
