Misc Thought you might like to meet Rosalita
Technically Princess Rosalita of Desert Edge because we think those fruity AKC names are kinda funny.

We live in the desert, it was 98 today and it won’t be hot here for a few weeks yet. We don’t do too many fires. 😉

Funny, you should mention that. She is a jumper and has actually managed to steal treats off the kitchen counter and we’re talking about a tiny little dog here no more than 10 pounds.

She’s a foster failure, second in a row. We kinda knew the day we met her, she was just too cute.

This is why my husband won’t allow me to foster dogs. I volunteer at our local shelter and it’s hard enough not coming home with a dog everyday!

Our other dog Carlos (Chihuahua Pug Mix) was a foster failure. We were fostering puppies to desensitize a rescue pit bull who was terrified of other dogs. We had an agreement that any foster failure would stop fostering, three dogs is a lot. We had adopted out his brother an we were getting the crates ready for an adoption event when Muddy picked up Carlos and took him into his crate. 123 other dogs he had never done that. So we let him keep him. They were inseparable until we lost muddy last year.
