Purchasing Asia MacBook user looking for premium desktop speakers — Marshall Acton III vs Stanmore III or better alternatives?

Hey everyone!
I'm a MacBook user and love its speaker clarity, bass, and overall sound, but it feels a bit underpowered when there's background noise in my room.

Around 80% of my usage is listening to music while working, especially instrumentals and songs where I can really appreciate the instruments. The rest is watching movies and series, where I'd love to feel the bass and sound effects more.

I'm leaning towards the Marshall Acton III, mainly because I love its design, but I'm confused about whether I should stretch my budget for the Stanmore III or consider something from Edifier or another brand.

I'm based in India, so I also want to know if Marshall is actually worth the price here or if there are better options for the money.

I want something that sounds as premium as it looks, with great clarity, detailed instruments, and satisfying bass.

What would you personally recommend, and why?

Marshall

Buy bookshelf speakers, that will sound far better. Look at Edifier or Yamaha or Kali.

Don't buy this Marshall thing. Get some good bookshelf speakers. You can buy used if you want to save money. I would try something from an audio site. Try USaudiomart or audiogon or such.

Onkyo has some interesting desktop speakers. Audioengine A2+ or A5+ are also standards with strong bass but not I wouldn’t call those neutral if that’s what you’re looking for for music.

If you want fun/warm sound, go with the Marshall.

If you want accurate/neutral/uncolored sound, go with bookshelf or reference monitors (see Klipsch, Audio-Technica, Edifier)
