As he should be. Bad showing from the defense. Bad showing from the O-line. And bad mistakes at bad times. All that said, credit to Bowling Green as they are a good team

"Bad showing from the defense"

HARD DISAGREE.

DEFENSE held them to 3/12 on 3rd down...23 rushes for 89 yards....

OFFENSE/Special Teams for A&M struggled the most. REED ran very well, but not enough to make up for his shitty passing game.

A&M had a punt blocked inside the 10 yard lineand you losers blame that on defense.

Constant blown coverages and couldn’t seal the edge all game, also couldn’t get off a block the entire game. The defense had a decent game because we absolutely out talented Bowling Green which caused the stats to be somewhat respectable. We have that defensive performance against an average SEC team (Arkansas, SCAR) and we could easily lose.

The offense is a known problem and to be expected with Reed’s passing considering he’s been known as an average passer with dual threat upside. Also making his second career start as a RS Freshman.

The defense is supposed to be the side of the ball we shouldn’t need a lot of work on in comparison. I doubt Elko was impressed with that defensive showing… especially the entire third quarter gashing or the multiple 4th downs that we could not stop from being converted.

Special teams had one bad play on a blocked punt. At least they cleaned up the missed field goals this week.

Also why are you so pressed? We have a difference in opinion…big whoop

That 4th and 4 where we called a timeout, and then they got 5 yards had me at 95% BAS.

That 4th down conversion is kind of just a consequence of the situation. You obviously want to sell out there and win the game on that play, but it's extremely risky. If we sell out and they take a shot and connect, it's a one possession game with way too much time on the clock. You kind of have to play soft that whole drive, make them eat clock, and hope something good happens (which it eventually did).

The other 4th down conversion was a little frustrating though bc we had it shut down and then the DB left his receiver before Bazelak crossed the LOS.

Elko runs a bend but don't break defense, correct?

Very situational, but with a multiple score lead in the fourth quarter he plays pretty conventional soft cover 4 outside leverage keep them underneath and in-bounds defense.

He is actually pretty aggressive on third down the rest of the time though.
