A&M playing chess by losing so they don’t have to play the championship game. It beats the bye in the playoffs because they’ll match up with a lower ranked team.
10 u/pardonmyignerance Ohio State • South Carolina Nov 29 '25 They might still get a bye. Skipping 2 games is next level. Maybe we should try that against Michigan. 17 u/phi316 Texas A&M Aggies Nov 29 '25 4D chess. 15 u/will_e_wonka Texas A&M Aggies • /r/CFB Dead Pool Nov 29 '25 Hopefully we only fall to 6 and not 7, because the difference between playing the ACC champ and the 10 seed (Alabama or Notre Dame or BYU) is a lot. 4 u/Hapycapybara2112 Texas Longhorns • UTSA Roadrunners Nov 29 '25 On one hand yes. On the other hand it’s been like 30 years since aggy has won a conference and like 12 years since they’ve beaten Texas. Also consider they ain’t gonna win shit in the playoffs
