Everyone seems to forget Texas lost to a 3-8 Florida team.

Its not the Ohio St loss thats hurting them.

While true, it’s also true that if they played Ohio instead of Ohio State, then they’d be 10-2 and likely #10 even with that bad Florida loss.

Or they could have lost to Ohio and been unranked. You can’t beat a team you didn’t play.

Okay then replace them with whoever you consider the worst FCS team, because Texas didn’t play one so that’s a simple switch. Still think we can’t assume a win?
