Casual Ohio St fans should be ashamed

Over 5,000 hate filled comments have showed up on Ohio St kicker Jayden Fielding’s social media since last night. Fanbase should be ashamed they’re harassing one of their own, it isn’t good for the player, team, or sport. No excuse for it, touch grass. Hope the fanbase can lift up this young man in time for their next game instead of tearing him down even more.

Unfortunately (read: fortunately) the kind of people posting death threats and hate comments on Twitter aren't the people that are browsing this subreddit.

Idk - I tend to think those are the unflaired users who only show up around this time of the year to say the most belligerent things about who should and shouldn’t be in the CFP

Make some of the same arguments here and there but they’re usually here at the very least season round

Many people remain unflaired because of the tribal reaction to comments.  I'm not sure it's the same correlation you're assuming.
