Casual Ohio St fans should be ashamed

Over 5,000 hate filled comments have showed up on Ohio St kicker Jayden Fielding’s social media since last night. Fanbase should be ashamed they’re harassing one of their own, it isn’t good for the player, team, or sport. No excuse for it, touch grass. Hope the fanbase can lift up this young man in time for their next game instead of tearing him down even more.

It’s funny because it’s typically programs like Ohio State, Bama, Georgia, etc. that have had more than our fair share of success that have factions of fanbases that can’t take a sliver of failure

If your team has 100 fans, and 1% are nutcases, you have 1 nutcase. If you have 1 million fans, you have 10,000 nutcases.

Right. The "Blue Bloods" have the highest number of bandwagon fans who have no real association with the university at all. They're only fans because the team usually wins. So their loyalty hinges on wins and they get unreasonably upset at losses.
