They sued the league and literally cited SMU as an example of how FSU was too good for the new ACC. Then promptly lost to SMU twice.

Clemson and FSU are 1-3 vs. SMU since they sued the ACC over us

Anyone who didn't realize SMU in the NIL era wasn't always gonna be a perennial top 20 team doesn't know SMU

The pettyness of a Gator fan knowing the tea on FSU "Know your enemy and shit.." Love it!

Oh they tend to know us more than we do. They hate us more than they love themselves.

Gator Bait admits its own ignorance. 👏🏼

Y'all are obsessed with us more than we ever care about you, that's all I'm saying. You have to admit that.

Yeah it’s not like there was an fsu fan spam posting “Florida sucks” articles for years in this sub before promptly disappearing when you guys started sucking….he definitely wasn’t obsessed

You guys made the spectacle with the lawsuit. You were also the only game on last night, so we watched it like everyone else, so don’t flatter yourself about us being obsessed

While the schadenfreude of the power outage and subsequent shitty play was fun, I didn't like the fact they were the only game on would inflate their viewership and sense of importance. But oh well.

This is something I've been seeing since I grew up in Tally in the 80s and 90s. We never thought or talked about y'all. Like, at all. If I grew up in Gville do you think that would be the case? No. We would be negative about Tallahassee and FSU all the time. That's just how y'all are. SEC rednecks all the way. It's a different culture.

Betton Hills Prep, Deer Lake, and Chiles. I grew up in Tallahassee. I just didn’t want to experience four more years of high school, so I left town for college. You should work on getting over your simmering hatred for sports teams. Maybe you will live longer and develop into a fully functional person.

And yes, Florida State people to this day talk crap about the Gators and Gainesville. Y’all even lied to the Legislature to get a medical school—claimed y’all would train rural PCPs—and y’all stealing a local non profit (TMH) to make a Temu version of Shands. I’d call y’all fans, but the only thing y’all hate more than us is your own team.

Simmering hatred? Lol. Projection much? Lol.

Speaking of medical schools, what did UF do to FSU back in the 70s to prevent us from having a medical research facility? Might want to look it up.

Btw, I did get out. Went to uf for a year before I decided I didn't want to attend school for a little while and dropped out. You call yourselves a public ivy. That's risible as hell. It's a degree mill with more arrogance. And y'all have always been more obsessed with us than the other way around. It's genuinely insane, your mindsets, when it comes to us.

Damn bro, sorry you failed out of UF. I understand the sour grapes now. At least UF dropout is still more valuable than FSU grad, so you have that going for you.

Okay?

Yall just showing you can dish it but not take it makes this whole Norvell tenure so much funnier. Hating your rival is normal, get lost with this faux “we take the high road” nonsense

What? I only responded when you did. I swear, I'll be glad not to think about you. You want us to. It fucking weird.

Feel free not to respond, but I bet you're going to feel the need to have the last word.

Change your moniker: from uf, to THU. Try Hard University.

FSU fans finding out they have to reap what they’ve sewn over the years is hysterical.

0

u/Taintly_Manspread Florida State Seminoles Sep 08 '26

Huh? What have we sewn?

5

u/Dukethegator Florida Gators Sep 08 '26

Y’all literally sued your own conference saying you were too good for it and have been unable to win a conference road game since

-2

u/Taintly_Manspread Florida State Seminoles Sep 08 '26

You realize we still have nearly half of the conference championships in the time we've been in the ACC, right? We'll be back. Or not. With the way the game is going, with ESPN in bed with the rednecks of the sport, and real winners like you all acting as you are, I'm not sure I care that much, or will care that much anytime soon. It's getting harder and harder to care about the sport as a whole, tbh.

But you're never going to make me feel like you're winners and we're losers, you should know. Look at how you guys act. You try too hard. It's embarrassing.

A lot of words for somebody who just doesn’t care

"Then promptly lost to SMU twice." In FSU defense, they lost pretty much to everybody
