"I can't believe this guy who just won the biggest game of his life doesn't want to talk bullshit with me"

That’s part of the deal with a nationally televised, high profile game. Hell, that’s even a part of games not like that.

I get it. That's part of the gig. But it someone runs off to celebrate because they're living in the moment I don't see how you get pissed about it

This may be hard to believe, but when one person is in the moment the other person might be too.

She is trying to do her job and he was rude to her so I think its both understandable and reasonable she is pissed.

And I think ultimately Sark probably will apologize to her in some way (same way Kiffin did to CBS' reporter when he kind of blew her off before an Alabama game a few years ago) and both are fine with it.

She’s not owed anything

Isn’t part of their contract that they do owe these halftime and post game interviews?

I would be surprised if it is not.

He did the interview, we all saw it, just was a short one 😜

For real. I feel like sideline reporters must have unionized and gotten these halftime/postgame interviews mandated into TV contracts, because unless you're a lover of generic coach speak and bland non-answers, I have no clue who cares about the interviews besides the sideline reporters.

It’s the product as a whole. Pregame show. Halftime interviews. Post game interviews.

The television companies pay a lot of money for the product and expect the coaches to play ball as part of that. And it may not always be exciting, but sometimes there’s some insightful things that can be said after a game.
