As much as I’m enjoying Kiffin’s humiliation here I’ve also got to say I really love this for Golding and Chambliss and everyone else that didn’t follow Kiffin when he jumped ship. Those guys deserved this win.

I feel like the real question was always gonna be can Golding maintain the standard once Chambliss and co are gone. Oregon got to Natty once Chip left, but once Mariota and co were gone it all fell apart under Helfrich.

It remains to be seen of course, but Pete’s an excellent recruiter. We also have very low expectations as a fanbase and can handle mediocrity as long as it’s clear there’s effort

Never noticed the ole miss and Louisiana Tech logos look sort of similar until today. Thank you!

Idk I think our fanbase is starting to get a little spoiled, at least the new gens lol

Can’t argue there. Expectations are definitely higher than they used to be

We can handle down years as long as we are peaking with quality playoff teams good enough to win it all every 4 years or so.

I can’t remember a time in recent history that we had a dominant Offensive AND Defensive line. Seems like every year one is great the other is..meh.

I’m here for it.

The answer to your question is no. Once Chambliss and co are gone(Lane's recruits) Ole Miss surely slips down to were they used to be before Kiffin built them up.

As a Dawg fan they have my utmost respect and the only time I will root hard against them this year will be when Kirby and the boys go into their house later this year. I gotta say that I dont see us winning that one, but a lot changes between now and then. If Georgia is out, then I'll absolutely be an Ole Miss fan and Id say a lot of others would enjoy seeing them win it all after everything thats happened. How wild would that be?

I actually would love to see Ole Miss make a natty appearance while LSU misses the playoffs all together

Didn’t Chambliss use a local judge to get an extra year? Not exactly the most sympathetic character in CFB lol

I don’t think LSU has any room whatsoever to complain about local judges making questionable rulings in their favor. Besides, at least Chambliss didn’t go to the friggin’ NFL and then come back to manhandle college students after training with the pros.

I don't see how it's a humiliation for Kiffin just because they lost. You win some, you lose something, just the way it goes

The humiliation is the context: He went to LSU because he thought he wouldn't be able to win with Ole Miss.

He went to LSU for the program prestige. He was 55-19 as HC of Ole Miss, obviously he could win football games.

To leave a team and then the school you go to literally says "we'll give you anything to bolt lane" and lane says "hmm well I need a 55 million dollar roster to compete and even tho ole miss spends a lot , they don't spend like that, then I'll leave." And literally gets that promise and in his first year at the new school which by the way you are now the coach of one of your former schools biggest rivals has a roster that is the most expensive in the nation and loses is something not even the writers of Hollywood would say people would believe lol that shit was cinema !

You’ll enjoy watching LSU beat Miss in the CFP.
Downvote me, and then HMU when it happens.
