Fox: Northwestern is a good football team, and it shows you how deep the B1G really is.

ESPN: Indiana struggled past Northwestern, and it shows you how down the B1G really is.

Kentucky plays Alabama close: SEC is deep Northwestern plays Indiana close: B1G is down Kentucky beats ATM: SEC is deep Northwestern beats Penn State: B1G is down

ESPN is a clown show that is trying to prop up the myth that the SEC now is the SEC of the 2010s.  Mostly because they paid a shitload of money for the broadcast rights at the peak and now they are trying to fluff up the value so they don't take a gigantic L in the Ass.

Screw ESPN, I don't watch a damn thing on their station unless there is no other choice to watch my team play.

Kentucky plays Alabama close for a half, then goes on to steamroll Aggie on the road the following week. Let’s see what Northwestern does with Penn State.

Indiana won't be undefeated this year. That's plainly obvious.

Probably. It was difficult to run the table last year. Highly unlikely they do it again.

They didn’t come out of the gates hot last year either we’ll see unlikely but I don’t think it’s obvious

Michigan is still undefeated. Anything is possible.

You sure about that? Take another second and recount your record

Double checked and yeah… 3-0. He’s right.

Though to be fair, I’m checking the actual standings and not what /r/cfb wished had happened really really badly and is still pretending is real weeks later. 🤷

Ah I see where the disconnect is, I actually watched the ending of the Western Michigan game, so that’s why we’re getting different results. That plus the NCAA saying the rules were not correctly followed, but hey the good news is I really don’t think that win will make a difference for Michigans post season

I mean, fuck Michigan and all… but please don’t defend the NCAA’s idiotic position on this one. The idea that a broadcast company’s mismanaged clock should EVER be able to overrule the official clock on the field is asinine and nobody should be okay with that. That matters a whole lot more than making fun of Michigan.

Look man, I’m a nobody who’s opinion means nothing and I hate Michigan. Of course I’m going to take the anti Michigan position whenever possible, because the beautiful thing is nothing I say actually matters. I’m just arguing with other nobodies on Reddit, and that’s what makes CFB so great

You know what? Fair enough then.

As long as you acknowledge it would be an atrocious result against Alabama (or, say Arizona, for that matter)

Yeah, I suppose if you don’t know how the clock works, that could happen.

Check one of the 700 threads about it. It’s not hard to find an explanation that the call was right and that Michigan won.

Good luck.

Ah of course, the NCAA doesn’t know it’s own rules. Love me some good old Wolverine cope

“The call on the field was that WMU won! You have to get the call right! Rigged! Bullshit!”

“Actually, the call on the field doesn’t matter. Protocol says if you follow this vague system and interpret it just this way, that the referees should’ve made the wrong call and WMU wins!”

Sure, Jan. I’m the one coping about this result.

Definitely not the folks doing a 180 on their opinions so they can keep seething about a game from weeks ago and cry at folks who have a flair they don’t like.

Those same ESPN morons have Ohio State at 7 like are even watching the same team? They SHOULD have beaten Texas on the road in a week two matchup. ESPN just sucks.
