Mini Mahomes played a very good game in relief of Dante. Dierre Hill had a great game too. Jamari Johnson was very needed, great to have him back. You could sense this team was playing for Dante Moore.
And fuck Desman Stephens and the USC bench for celebrating an injured player. Even if it was a late slide, the actions on the side line while the medical staff was tending to an injured player speaks to the culture Lincoln Riley has fostered at USC. Disgraceful.
No we aren’t. He played the exact same way for us, just has way more talent around him now. Instead of a 3 star OL, he has guys that will play in the league.
Yup. I feel like a lot of Nebraska fans wanted him to suck, but he’s not a bad QB. With a better OL and more weapons at Nebraska he would’ve done very well, it just didn’t work out unfortunately.
Well the Nebraska fanbase got mad at him when he said the same thing about the talent level at Oregon, and I still see a lot of hate towards raiola from Nebraska fans
Next to EJ he was our best player last season. Raiola didn't get enough credit from husker fans. Partially because of his uncle being a bad offensive line coach
I watched maybe five Nebraska games last year (at least in part). It was bad, not denying that. Us vs Oklahoma State was just as bad if not worse though. They regularly got pressure rushing 3 and against max protect.
crazy bc watching him this year id say his pocket awareness/ pocket mobility and willingness to hang in there and sling it downfield have been his strengths
