This is one of the worst coached Michigan teams I can remember. They're undisciplined, the playcalling is awful, and letting 40 seconds run off the clock around the 2 minute warning by not calling a timeout and not taking a fair catch only to use timeouts when they're in victory formation is bush league.

Pathetic showing from the entire coaching staff.

Whittingham has completely checked out. This is nowhere near what he used to be at his peak in Utah.

Well good defense and mediocre to bad QB play is kind of what he was at Utah for a lot of the time

Ya this is Utah football lol. Even got the horrible QB play. Tbf this is slightly below average Whittingham year, but he always had these.

Ya when we had good QBs everything was put together and we were very good.

6 out of the 20 seasons of his tenure he managed to do that.

Rising has a very high football IQ. His body had a hard time executing. I hope he has a long, successful career as a coach.

What’s that dude up to these days?

He always reminded me of a pirate.

According to Wikipedia, he became the OC at his California high school before last season. Presumably he's still doing that.

I'm not surprised that he's taking a whack at coaching.

I suppose that’s morally better than plundering ships, but it’s definitely not as exciting.

Last I saw he was an OC for a high school in California.

If he didn't get hurt, I'd like to think he actually had a future playing Sundays. He just had too much composure in those two minute drills, he was elite in a lot of ways. Miss him

Plus all the presnap penalties. That was always a problem with his teams.
