People have never been sane about rankings. Beat a ranked team? You’re world beaters. Lose to a ranked team? You’re frauds. If #14 and #15 play a game where #15 loses by a field goal, you’ll see #14 jump by like 3 slots and #15 drop 9 or 10. They should just stay where they are - the game proves they’re correctly ranked.

The rankings are treated more like accolades than rankings.

Last week, LSU blew out a ranked opponent and dropped… which I think was a first.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t care a lick about rankings until the CFP ones come out, but still…
