Can’t fucking believe it. It was 17-6 at 12 minutes in the fourth. Nebraska dominated all game. Just sad rn man

Nebraska had

-double TOP

-double first downs

-10/19 on third down vs 1/10

-more pass yards

-double rush yards

-better in the red zone

-a double digit lead in the 4th quarter

And lost. Brutal

Literal total domination till the long touchdown, and then it's just over

When they let up that 1 play td I knew the moment had gotten too big for the defense.

This might come off shitty (respect to your defensive backfield for a hell of a game, truly), but I was begging Hoover to throw at Marsh and Becker even when covered like that first Marsh td all fucking game. Mendoza's bread and butter was 50/50 balls to elite receivers.

Depends on how you want to put it, don’t think it was on the defense as much as a god awful defensive call. Why are they going zero in the moment where not giving up a big play is the most important thing you can do?

Another Matt Rhule classic. He was up 28-3 vs Oklahoma in a top 10 matchup at home (Baylor), and we lost. He doesn’t win big games.
