In some ways this is a step forward. Nebraska can hang with the Big boys.

In other ways it’s exactly the same. Pissing a big game away that was yours to lose in a new, agonizing way.

big step forward

No it isn't. We've been doing this for a decade now. This loss showed absolutely nothing new.

Oh cool? Did they fucking win?

No? Cool? I’m super glad we will all view it as anything but a loss in 10 years

Just like the Michigan 2021 loss or the 2019 Ohio state loss. I view those as super positive moments in the programs history. “Best 3-9 team of all time” type shit pretending like this is anything but a loss

i think it will all depend on how the rest of the season plays out Isms. they can use this to springboard and go 10-2 or 11-1? then yeah i think we view this loss differently in the future. if they limp the rest of the year (like they have in the past) then unfortunately you'll be right and it's more of the same.

Indiana will learn from this game and come away stronger.

Nebraska's next opponents will learn from this game and be more prepared.

It’s not a step forward. We’ve kept it close with top 10 times multiple times over the years. I saw nothing yesterday to show that anything has changed since OSU in ‘24 or Michigan in ‘21.
