Matter hasn’t completed back to back passes over 10 yards all year.

Absolute miracle.

Those were both a couple of awesome catches too. Both times I said no way, not a catch.

The first one i really thought he landed on his butt out of bounds. Then they showed the replay and he was actually well inside the sidelines but from the far back camera he looked like he was 100% out. Even the ref nearby thought it was out of bounds which is crazy bc he was so much closer.

Also, how was Arch's wild throw to the sidelines before the last pick not considered an intentional grounding? He was in the pocket still. I had it on mute so I couldn't hear what the commentators were saying about it and maybe college rules are different from nfl but it looked clearly to me like an intentional

I'm pretty sure our CB got called for holding. Rationale was if he didn't hold, WR would have been close enough.

That would make sense, flags did go out but at the bottom of the screen it just said incomplete pass on the banner so I was scratching my head on that one

Made up for the drop on the previous drive and then some

u/Cobbyx 7d ago

Wasn’t a drop. It was deflected off a lineman

Yes, but it hit his hands. I know it wasn’t an easy catch by any means, but you want your stars to make those plays with the game on the line

Or ever

That must be why those refs absolutely refused to believe their lyin' eyes on those two catches. That first one in particular is just like... What was the ref looking at? Two feet down, and it wasn't even like his feet were right on the edge of the sideline.

It was all we had left. I’ll be happy even when we only win 3 more games this year.

The worse the rest of the season goes, the funnier this win becomes.

I swear teams perform to their full potential when they get in end game scenarios. And defenses fall flat. Unless you're FSU. Then your QB throws a pick to end every game.

Unbelievable! Even in such an incredible circumstance the Oklahoma fans find a way to complain.

We have much to learn.
