Everyone is talking refs but Gunner was the difference in this game IMO.

Experience really shined through today and lack thereof for Russel in the first half.

Because he is just so pure. Like genuinely the dude is liked by all his team mates is what I’ve heard and just a great guy. He isn’t flashy, but passionate. I think that down home good dude persona just absorbs the hype a little.

Georgia’s offense is much more run a ton and let Gunner make plays when needed than all the offenses with QBs throwing a ton. Stetson kinda had the same issue but the O was good enough his final year to get him a Heisman invite.

As a Alabama fan I gotta say why? He looked like ass this game. Missed easy throws, footwork was terrible, has no feel for the pocket. When he doesn’t have ten seconds in the pocket he can’t read a defense quick enough to find the open receiver. Every time yall brought pressure it was bad. Hats off should be to gunner he beat us with so many third down throws that were perfectly thrown.
