Averaged 6 YPC with our RBs and refused to run the ball on multiple drives.

The way you guys pushed our line back 5+ yards on almost every TE lineup in the first drive made me think we were in for a proper ass whooping. I am just as confused as you are about the lack of run calls.

Turns out even with having a run game we still can’t use it properly😅

Could you even imagine a Saban team doing that?

Poor Funnymane built his entire career telling bama to run the ball and still such a reluctance.

They stole Bobo's old playbook

Grubb called a pretty rough game. The run game was literally working and he would constantly call some downfield shot where UGA was clearly getting to Keelon before the plays developed… more runs and maybe the score is reversed since bama would have more TOP… oh well ifs and buts

The refusal to stick to a run heavy offense by both teams was astounding considering how many yards they got AND the freaking wind speed.

Off tackle to the left was automatic 8 yards. Not sure why yall abandoned it

Ryan Grubb experience. Runs the ball like there’s stated mandated rationing even though it’s literally working

We also refused to blitz on 3rd downs

We did once and got burned on it. May be why they didn't do it more.

Gunner's mentality to just eat the worst hits in the world like oreos in milk is the low-key superpower that runs the offense. The blitzes do get home a lot, he just ignores them and gets the ball where it needs to go; which is tough to defend against because the alternative to sit back is what helps our run game.

Uhh, bama got burned on every single 3rd down. They kept dropping clueless d linemen into coverage who don’t know wtf to do. It was like they thought they had to either rush 7 or rush 3; no in between

I was so concerned about Bama's pass rush coming into this game and they just proceeded to...not use it? We've looked so sus against pressure all year so I thought for sure they'd test the waters more than they did.

Yall also did a decent job of stopping the blitz when we actually did bring it.

TBF half of those yards came on one carry. The other 19 carries your RBs had they averaged 3.3 YPC. That’s not great

They had 29 carries for 161, and 80 came on 2 carries

They werent running the ball super well, they just had 2 big runs

Wouldn’t that mean in four down territory, they could run the ball and get the first down?

If that's what that meant, all anyone would ever do is run.

Yeahhhhhh. I thought we blocked really well early and should’ve just taken some pressure off Keelon

Idk why they stopped giving it to 13

He’s a true freshman and doesn’t have a full grasp of the offense yet. For that reason we run him about 70% of the time he’s in the backfield which is something a defense like Georgia will be able to key in on. He’s super talented though

Yeah he had some great runs. Gonna be fun to watch the next few years.
