Narduzzi is so ass 😂

u/tripdawg15 7h ago

Refs need to be indicted for this game.

-2

u/Requiem2371 Virginia Tech Hokies 7h ago

Hahahahahahaha

2

u/Flioxan Notre Dame • Jeweled Shillelagh 7h ago

Did narddog forget this was a conference game? Maybe he should yell at the AP some more

4

u/yinzer21 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

“Yeah Mahk I just don’t see enough to overturn it”

Pitt deserved to lose this but listening to this shitty ref with a Boston accent is cracking me up

3

u/Ok_Friendship_6340 Notre Dame • Ohio State 7h ago

just tuned in for a second and whys this ref sound like what i’d imagine JFK would sound like

2

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 7h ago

The initial call with the ref who can actually see the ball said short then got overruled?? 🤔

4

u/FlowState257 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Season was cooked when our qb went down but, "not like this...not like this"

3

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Doesn’t explain the D

1

u/FlowState257 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Totally agree.  I expected a rock fight and them putting up 27 is straight ass

4

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

He was clearly short but hey BC deserves a break, they haven’t gotten a call all game

5

u/Particular-Way-3805 Clark Atlanta • Georgia 7h ago

Pat Nardookie

2

u/VistaVick 7h ago

Not enough evidence to change the call

1

u/Einfinet LSU Tigers • Illinois Fighting Illini 7h ago

so can we stop all that rank Pitt talk now?

2

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 7h ago

Might be a few inches short?

2

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Just move the chains that we’ve lost this game trying to postpone the inevitable and extend our suffering. The game is over.

1

u/VistaVick 7h ago

Looks like a first down

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Also this loss is 100% on the coaches. The defense wasn’t ready and we didn’t adjust. The QB is a 3rd string QB freshman, no shit he isn’t that good.

1

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Was about to say, why the hell would we accept that penalty

2

u/pittpanthers95 Pittsburgh • Slippery Rock 7h ago

Alright folks I gotta move my laundry to the dryer, if anything interesting happens it’s because I walked away from the tv

1

u/FlowState257 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Warms my heart that there is a slippery rock flair.  I had no idea haha

1

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Does BOB think he’s coaching Canadian football?

2

u/MeeseShoop Boston College • Vanderbilt 7h ago

I don’t think O’Brien thinks at all.

2

u/Sports101GAMING 7h ago

Might as well hold a open QB tryout tomorrow

4

u/SenorPoopsPants 7h ago

Clean house. Injured qb1 or not.

-2

u/shitbreakfinch 7h ago

Yall think Pitt will be ranked tomorrow?

4

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I think we fall out of the top 5 but should stick in around 12 or so

3

u/NoLoveLikeGilfLove Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

AP voters better wake their asses up (for the bottom 25)

4

u/EgregiousPhilbin6 Michigan • Boston College 7h ago

a reminder that pitt still has 3 timeouts and bc is still bc

1

u/Thick_Policy9827 Boston College Eagles 7h ago

Please no fumble

3

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Announcers don’t know ball. We ain’t doing shit if we get them a 3 and out

4

u/NoLoveLikeGilfLove Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I don’t care that Dailey’s a freshman, that was awful.

2

u/goodiereddits Notre Dame Fighting Irish 7h ago

Hell yes BC keep it up for exactly 3 more weeks

7

Fire Narduzzi the second the game ends... He should have benched the kid long ago

-1

u/VistaVick 7h ago

I didn't realize Pitt was not a serious football program.

1

u/VistaVick 7h ago

As a BC fan, we are terrible.

1

u/OcelotWolf Pittsburgh Panthers • Maryland Terrapins 7h ago

Are you new here? This is business as usual

5

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

We paid a lot of money for Heintschel. The backups are just bad.

5

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Lol told you he was throwing a pick. Obviously

4

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Someone here called that lol

3

u/NoLoveLikeGilfLove Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

To all the BC fans: We still have to go 80 yards in two minutes with a freshman QB who’s never started a game. Also, we need a touchdown. Which we’ve only done once all day.

1

u/FracturedKnuckles Ohio State Buckeyes • Paper Bag 7h ago

I turned this game off at half, and if Pitt loses I will not watch another game until next season, I’ve given up on this team

3

u/DeathsFavoriteHuman Boston College • Cornell 7h ago

Why can’t we have one nice thing

3

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 7h ago

That missed PAT is gonna cost them the game. Most BC thing ever

4

u/mynewname1 Boston College Eagles 7h ago

Death, taxes, and BC blowing a lead

3

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

We aren’t scoring a touchdown lol you’re fine

2

u/Manthem Penn State Nittany Lions • /r/CFB Brickmason 7h ago

Look, I'm not going to pretend I know more about calling plays than a head coach, but there's no way that is the right call.

3

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 7h ago

too funny, take 3 knees and win the game bill o brien masterclass

5

u/pittpanthers95 Pittsburgh • Slippery Rock 7h ago

Don’t worry BC we’re about to go 3 and out

2

u/Thick_Policy9827 Boston College Eagles 7h ago

I have seen this story too many times. We can’t win

2

u/pittpanthers95 Pittsburgh • Slippery Rock 7h ago

I’ve also seen this story many times. Neither can we.

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I mean we still have to drive 90 yards with the 3rd string true freshman. He’s gonna throw a pick.

1

u/Aurelian92 Pittsburgh • Michigan State 7h ago

Even if he doesn't he's only been able to do it once on the opening drive. Outside of that it's been FGs and a FG doesn't cut it.

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Right, we aren’t scoring so it doesn’t really matter.

4

u/Thick_Policy9827 Boston College Eagles 7h ago

Sounds about right

3

u/Aurelian92 Pittsburgh • Michigan State 7h ago

Narduzzi has one game plan and when it doesn't work he doesn't know how to make adjustments.

3

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

6

u/SCsprinter13 Penn State Nittany Lions • /r/CFB Bug Finder 7h ago

4

u/theexile14 Pittsburgh • Notre Dame 7h ago

These RTP calls are insane

2

u/Steelcity77 7h ago

Let me say it again, this secondary SUCKS

1

cant do much blitzing 6+ every play

1

u/Steelcity77 7h ago

1

3

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

4 or 5 roughing calls today? What are we doing…

4

u/Aurelian92 Pittsburgh • Michigan State 7h ago

Lol only call a hold when it can be offset, what a joke.

1

u/glouie2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Narduzzi defensive masterclass

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

They finally call holding on BC it’s offsetting lmao right

3

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Wide open every single play. Fucking lmao

4

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 7h ago

0 holding calls against BC is pretty wild

1

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

Well there was one. But with a Pitt penalty to offset it 🤣

2

u/tarheelsrule441 North Carolina Tar Heels 7h ago

There's one, but...

3

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 7h ago

softest roughing the passer in history

2

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Narduzzi hasn’t adjusted his scheme in a decade lol dipshit

0

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Arch keeps playing like that the Steelers might have a shot

1

u/chmcgrath1988 Boston College • Maine 7h ago

Pete Cronan did a Herculean job stifling laughter after Jon Meterparal said “I think Ted Roof’s one of the best defensive coordinators in the country. He’s worked for 12 teams.” in a deadpan, sarcastic tone during the BC radio broadcast.

3

u/dietmrfizz Boston College • San Diego State 7h ago

Pitt kicker man of the match for sure

2

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Our best hope here is McKenzie running backwards for a safety. Otherwise it’s a deep ball touchdown or 3 DPis to the endzone.

3

u/Steelcity77 7h ago

Pitt has hurt themselves with these penalties but these refs haven’t called this game evenly which makes it even harder

2

u/tarheelsrule441 North Carolina Tar Heels 7h ago

Over/Under 1.5 DPI calls on this upcoming drive?

3

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Surprise, 1 dpi and 1 holding

4

u/realestatereddit Penn State • Pittsburgh 7h ago

13 penalties for almost 150 yards. Absolutely insane

7

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

There’s no way on earth any team commits 13 penalties for almost 150 yards that is gotta be as investigated for gambling. There’s no way on earth I’ve ever seen a game where that’s been called like that.

5

u/theexile14 Pittsburgh • Notre Dame 7h ago

The timing has been awful too. Driving? Hold. Third down stop? Roughing the passer on a hit moments after the ball goes out. All judgement calls.

1

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I can’t really argue those holding calls. Clearly our guys are holding.

4

u/Thick_Policy9827 Boston College Eagles 7h ago

The penalties that aren’t getting called on BC are worse than the ones that are getting called on Pitt

6

u/wirelessburrito Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

You can argue why it's not called both ways

3

u/Aggressive-Food1185 Florida Gators 7h ago

That one okay but the one before was fucking bullshit

1

u/pittpanthers95 Pittsburgh • Slippery Rock 7h ago

2nd and Worcester hahahahahahaha kill me

3

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Yes Pitt is undisciplined. But they’ve been undisciplined for years and I’ve never seen this kind of disparity in penalties/yardage.

7

u/sluggo15 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Fuck these refs dude. There has to be some accountability. Unreal

5

u/GrumpyTartan California Golden Bears • UC Davis Aggies 7h ago

ACC refs doing the usual - making the game nearly unwatchable

4

u/tripdawg15 7h ago

Refs have been so one sided in this game it's crazy. BC apparently plays the cleanest brand of football in the world. Pitt gets a positive play and 10 flags fly.

2

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Praying that the whole “2 score is the most dangerous lead” kinda thing holds true

9

u/pittpanthers95 Pittsburgh • Slippery Rock 7h ago

What part of Boston is this ref from?

6

u/OcelotWolf Pittsburgh Panthers • Maryland Terrapins 7h ago

Yeah okay buddy

5

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I’m glad BC finally got a call in their favor

2

u/Timely_Conflict4796 UConn Huskies 7h ago

Man Mason is fun to watch. A tough as nails kid who fits this region like a glove. He’s getting better and better every week.

Genuinely think BC has a shot at 6-6 and a bowl.

3

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

5-0 to 5-7. Another successful Pitt football season 🥰

2

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

Our d line is good enough to send 5, spy the QB, and put 5 in coverage…

2

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

But our secondary isn’t good enough to only drop 5.

1

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 7h ago

can we trade for oregons backup qb that they just benched

5

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 7h ago

IF YA DON'T LIKE THAT MISSED PAT, YA DON'T LIKE BOSTON COLLEGE FOOTBALL

1

u/BigTimeSpider Illinois Fighting Illini 7h ago

Whole lotta ass

2

u/Traditional_Frame418 Wisconsin Badgers • Big Ten 7h ago

Pitt knows BC wants to launch it and hope for a PI or wide open dude. And Pitt just keeps giving BC man coverage with zero help over the top. Honestly it's fascinating to watch and has to drive Pitt fans insane.

3

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

I think you’re the same Wisconsin fan that I responded to earlier lol. It’s been the same thing for 12 years

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I need a Narduzzi retirement more than anything

1

u/tarheelsrule441 North Carolina Tar Heels 7h ago

That's just how the Nard Dawg rolls

4

u/96kellyn Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

We can still tie it with 3 more field goals!

1

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

There’s the first one! 2 more to go.

1

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

That would require 2 stops on defense though.

4

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

fuck

1

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

Okay. Actually I lied. You COULD recover some onside kicks instead of playing defense.

3

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I just don’t know what to say at this point I get that we have a bad quarterback situation but man, why is the defense this bad so if it’s on the refs but band

-6

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

There’s a joke here about Pitts coach calling out voters then promptly losing to UNC and BC.

1

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Has nothing to do with QB1 tearing his ACL

-2

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

It has a little but not everything.

1

u/theexile14 Pittsburgh • Notre Dame 7h ago

I mean, the starting QB and RB are both hurt.

-3

u/XrayGuy08 Georgia Bulldogs • UCF Knights 7h ago

And? Is that stopping your defense from letting BC kill you deep? Or having over 100 yards of penalty yards? Injuries certainly are not helping but no way should Pitt be losing to this BC team.

2

u/Steelcity77 7h ago

Secondary SUCKS

2

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

It should be plainly obvious to opposing teams to take a shot at least once every drive against us. At worst its a free DPI

3

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

James Franklin is the only coach how watches film I guess. VT had nine pass plays over 20 yards. It’s so easy to expose our garbage scheme

1

u/tarheelsrule441 North Carolina Tar Heels 7h ago

We just didn't have a QB with the arm to get it there, but somehow we still hit a couple, including our TE outrunning your secondary.

2

u/sluggo15 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Our defensive has given up these huge plays every game I swear

0

u/wirelessburrito Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Call a hold

2

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Literally just throw it deep every play. This defense is ass

6

u/calvinwars Pittsburgh • Arkansas 8h ago

Random question comes to mind for BC fans, do you guys have open animosity from New England professional sports writers?

Pitt gets a lot of public hate from Steelers, Penguins, etc sports media for being smaller (and since Pitt doesn’t have a journalism school, so a lot of media comes from West Virginia, Syracuse, Penn State). Does BC have any similar issues from Patriots, Celtics, Bruins writers?

2

u/Rooleet Boston College Eagles 7h ago

It's too much of a pro sports city unfortunately. Not to mention all the college allegiances are split because of hockey, or they went to UMASS, so there's no singular school to get support.

1

u/AcidaliaPlanitia Boston College Eagles • Navy Midshipmen 7h ago

Lol Boston sports writers probably don't remember BC football exists.

6

u/EgregiousPhilbin6 Michigan • Boston College 7h ago

Kinda the opposite tbh. Boston sports media is incredibly toxic and petty and BC is so irrelevant they fly under the radar of all of that

3

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 7h ago

They just don't care about BC. School hasn't given them anything to care about though

2

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Need a second cocktail bc of this ref ball game

2

u/Turbulent_Tale6497 Boston College Eagles • WKU Hilltoppers 7h ago

Second? Rookie.

I’m unc now

1

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 8h ago

Passing has been working but now BoB thinks running it up the middld is what we need. Should have hired an OC

2

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 8h ago

At least Narduzzi can always get a good kicker for us

1

u/AfroJimbo Virginia Tech • Commonwealth C… 8h ago

I still have visions of Fitz having his way against us in 2003.

1

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

I have found memories of Brandon Miree running all over VT in 2002.

1

u/AdventuresOfAD Pittsburgh • James Madison 7h ago

I remember Kevin Jones having his way with us lol

3

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Both Pitt and BC punch above their weight in terms of football alumni

2

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

We need a pick 6 or something

5

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

If Narduzzi had played this conservatively last week, we still would be undefeated I guess he figures the only time you’re gonna take the points because you’re playing your backups when you’re down to your third string guy and not when you’re using some second string bum

-3

u/EgregiousPhilbin6 Michigan • Boston College 8h ago

Clearly not a fumble, but close ones like that are always called fumble on the field and overturned after the fact

1

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 8h ago

That’s not true. They wait to blow the whistle but then make whatever call they need to make.

1

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Yeah, I’m ok with that

3

u/CNY_Orange Syracuse Orange 8h ago

Every year I think the ACC refs can't get any worse and yet here we are.

2

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Refs must also think they’re too good for the ACC. They want to get picked up by the SEC/B1G

2

u/Aurelian92 Pittsburgh • Michigan State 8h ago

It's time to bench CD, he cannot hit open receivers.

3

u/medussa727 8h ago

The most obvious incomplete pass of all time.

4

u/MrPinkThompson Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

That was an obvious incomplete pass. What the fuck are these on field refs looking at

2

u/tarheelsrule441 North Carolina Tar Heels 8h ago

Not a fumble, but I think Geriner is better than this kid is right now.

3

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Neither one of them can hit an open receiver

5

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

I mean, that’s not even close. What kind of fixes is in here?

5

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 8h ago

I mean I’m not one to complain about the refs but come on… if you can’t see his hand moving forward on the field, how can I trust you to call penalties correctly?

4

u/Pitt_Is_It_2009 Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

What are with these refs?

7

u/theexile14 Pittsburgh • Notre Dame 8h ago

That they called that a fumble on the field is probably the biggest indictment of the refs of this game

2

u/wirelessburrito Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Where's the roughing the passer there

6

u/AfroJimbo Virginia Tech • Commonwealth C… 8h ago

ACC refs are so fucking dumb

5

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

How is that a fumble? These refs are desperate to let BC win

6

u/OcelotWolf Pittsburgh Panthers • Maryland Terrapins 8h ago

There’s no way that’s a fumble lol

6

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

His arm is clearly moving forward so that will be BC ball

4

u/lone_eagle2011 Boston College Eagles • Texas Longhorns 8h ago

Not a fumble

3

u/Halvey15 Pittsburgh • James Madison 8h ago

No way that’s a fumble lol

4

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 8h ago

oh but they call a hold there. Fuck off refs

3

u/OfficeContent3708 Pittsburgh • Seton Hill 8h ago

Just me or have they been letting piles get pushed a whole lot more than usual in CFB this year ?

7

u/YinzerInsuranceGuy 8h ago

pitt gets called for PI 5x in first half all ticky tacky and BC gets no PI called on them ever?

4

u/Dialectic_Emptiness Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

Holding, Pitt was getting to close to the endzone

5

u/TwoHeadedBoyTwo Pittsburgh Panthers 8h ago

All these players that they’re calling clean defensive players, they would absolutely flagged on Pitt
