Offensive playcalling is so predictable and the defense, while good, still has its weaknesses. Injuries across the roster have been rough too, multiple starters are gone for the year.

I'm just here to say that this is the first CMU/Western game played at CMU on a Saturday afternoon in probably a decade. It's incredible how both schools went out of their way to ruin this rivalry for at least three generations of students.

Fair, but they also didn't need to choose their rivalry game to put on Tuesday nights in bitter cold. They also wanted to host the game at Ford Field, like 200 miles from either school, but COVID stepped in to stop that, or else we might not be having this game here today.

Keep in mind, Central wanted to host the game in Detroit as their home game.

That was never agreed to be a neutral site for the rivalry. Central did the math and thought their alumni base clustered around Detroit would be positive for attendance at Ford Field.
