The way Texas played those kneel downs was some classless shit.

91

u/Knook7 Florida Gators 2h ago

Reminds me of Greg Schiano's Bucs teams. Classless shit

u/CampbellsTurkeySoup Florida Gators • Florida Cup 1h ago

And Tennessee under Heupel.

u/brewmatt USF Bulls 48m ago

THAT'S HOW WE DO IT AT RUTGERS

u/Hurdlebuddy12 Oklahoma Sooners 2h ago

I thought I was crazy for noticing that but for real

Should have saved some of that energy for the actual game.

127

u/saharashooter Tennessee • Pittsburgh 2h ago

Had to scroll too far to see this. Bush league stuff

144

u/gray-ops Georgia Bulldogs • Kennesaw State Owls 2h ago

I was thinking the same thing. The games over. You know it’s over. There’s no need to potentially hurt someone in garbage time.

Exact thing that caused Gundy and Herman to get into it years ago when we were kneeling it out, one of their guys even got tossed for it

Ugh, the Breckyn Hager experience. Guy was a douche

16

u/gmr548 Texas Longhorns • Washington Huskies 1h ago

Absolute bitchassedness.

I get why the defense would be frustrated but that’s embarrassing and unacceptable.

But attitude reflects leadership and Sark has consistently produced undisciplined, low IQ teams.

Sark is a bitch.

Wish we would have shown that kinda fight at literally any point today

57

u/HookEmHorns313 Texas • Western Michigan 1h ago

Embarrassing.

Extremely typical

Reminds me of later Tom Herman years. Yikes

Exactly what it reminded me of as well. I’d normally sit through the whole game, and stay through The Eyes of Texas, but the moment I saw that shit I started the shameful stroll to my truck.

Absolute bitch made behavior

They dirty

22

It's not that orange that you can sit with.

u/new_accountFC Alabama Crimson Tide 1h ago

Poor showing from them. They couldn’t do anything to stop him and couldn’t control their emotions. It’s Texas though, so it’s a bit expected from them. Entitled, but not good enough to back it up

By all accounts, they are the 2nd most underachieving college football program of all time.

7

u/NotActuallyMeta Texas Longhorns • Rice Owls 59m ago

Who is 1? Need to send them a Christmas card this year

9

u/MechaSkippy Texas A&M Aggies 55m ago

Present.

No glitter on the card, please.

u/FuckKroenke55 Illinois • Texas State 58m ago

The only school that keeps yall from being roasted harder… A&M. Yall should thank God every day they exist to be CFB’s biggest underachiever.

6

u/Big-Ground-426 1h ago

Thats why see like to see them lose. Entitled t-sips are cry-babies

-6

u/DrowningChicken Texas Longhorns 1h ago

Crazy from A bama flair. We saw how yall reacted to the Vandy loss lol

u/Insectshelf3 Oklahoma • Red River Shootout 27m ago

who gave you permission to speak

1

u/DrowningChicken Texas Longhorns 4m ago

Fair enough…

5

u/JohnHammerfall Texas Tech Red Raiders • USC Trojans 1h ago

Typical Sark teams. The guy is a clown. You’d think getting sober would make him a better person, but for some people getting sober just makes them more of an asshole.

2

u/Ctrl-Aust-Del Ohio State Buckeyes 20m ago

Always crazy when the alcohol makes someone MORE tolerable.

u/zmurds40 Pac-12 • Team Chaos 1h ago

I didn’t watch the game because I’m at work, what happened during the kneel downs?

22

u/jmh10138 Florida • Georgia Southern 1h ago

Couple Texas’s D-Linemen were diving in the pile

-30

u/Apatschinn Iowa Hawkeyes • Northern Iowa Panthers 1h ago

I can understand driving the O line back to try to penetrate to the QB before he kneels it (I think victory formation is inherently a bitch move), but you don't dive over the line to dog pile. That's dangerous.

14

u/SportsBallScholar Texas A&M Aggies 1h ago

Texas d-line was firing off as hard as they could on all 3 kneel downs. Causing a huge pile. On kneel downs.

3

u/GatorCustoms Florida Gators 1h ago

They were crashing the line hard. I thought a fight was going to break out

3

u/RadWalk Florida Gators 1h ago

As I gator it’s like watching someone rage quit a video game. Try your best, it doesn’t matter

2

u/creation88 Texas Longhorns 1h ago

Fucking front runner bs

2

u/IThinkImNateDogg Ohio State • Notre Dame 4m ago

I said at the bar watching the OSU game that Cig deserves massive props and respect for just taking the knees without a timeout.

Dude accepted the result of the game like a man. Respect.

2

u/Such-Magician4300 Oklahoma Sooners 1h ago

on first down a TX player got his ass tossed 5 yards wonder if that was the instigator for how subsequent downs went

1

u/tashmanan 59m ago

Didn't see the end what happened?

1

u/Relevant-Apple8142 41m ago

Is it that surprising at this point?

1

u/IMT_Justice Texas Longhorns 33m ago

Sark had his headset off during those. Even if it were competitive (it’s not what the fuck are we doing) the calls did not translate to the FUCKING HEAD COACH OF THE TEAM

0

u/New_Accountant2449 Georgia Bulldogs 1h ago

I missed it, but I assume they attempted to tackle.

Is that the case?

-27

u/AzulCaballero 复旦大学 (Fudan) • Cooper Union 1h ago

I’m not sure it was personal, they were baiting Florida to get a penalty and stop the clock. If it works once, they would’ve had enough time left to get the ball back.

It’s shitty for sure, but it looked like intentional strategy.

14

u/Ornery_Gene7682 Oklahoma Sooners 1h ago

It was dirty and players could of gotten hurt with it

-10

u/ratmanvenezuela 1h ago

Players could’ve gotten hurt?? In football? Unacceptable
