“Arch said he wants to be right back in that exact situation. A game on the line like it was a week ago.”

*Proceeds to have an inexplicable turnover just like he did a week ago*

This is actually a fucking comedy at this point.

u/StrawberryTiiger Florida Gators • UCF Knights 1h ago

Like kyrie in the playoffs saying that you'll never see him go 8 for 22 from the field ever again only to go 7 of 22 the next game

95

u/Geno0wl Ohio State • Cincinnati 56m ago edited 35m ago

Hue Jackson promising the Browns wouldn't go 1-15 again only for them to go 0-16. Peak comedy.

Losing to Florida at home after leading 17-3 with Arch giving up another late game, back-breaking turnover is going to have the country clubs fuming!

Ok Arch, you can’t throw a 4th quarter INT this game

“Say no more!” fumbles

Not Arch’s fault. The moment is too small. Fucking waste of his talent against these unranked schools. You want someone to beat Florida, give me some nameless fuck like Missouri has. I’ll see y’all fuckers the first five minutes of the draft.

I’m no Arch defender, but #74 needs to get absolutely obliterated in the locker room

Completely gave up on the play and had a shot at the fumble recovery and did NOTHING

154

Dude also caused it just standing around doing nothing. Then tried to half ass pick it up to lose it to a man that weighed probably 75lbs less than him

I said it in the game thread but it absolutely reeks of bitchassedness. I understand why the defense would be frustrated but that’s embarrassing and unacceptable.

And that sort of issue is 100% reflective of leadership from the top.

That 4th quarter against Ohio State did so much heavy lifting. Really gaslit everyone into thinking this was actually a good football team.

129

u/emoney_gotnomoney Texas A&M Aggies 1h ago edited 1h ago

Obviously we’re ass too, I get that. With that being said, outside of that one quarter against Ohio State, the Texas offense has looked incredibly anemic all season long, even against the UTSA’s of the world.

Again, not trying to engage in trash talk or anything since our season is in the gutter and I have no room to talk myself, but I really don’t understand the constant “Sark offensive genius” talk by the media when time and time again it seems like the defense is what’s carrying his team, even back in the Quinn Ewers days.

42

u/A_Rolling_Baneling USC • Mississippi State 1h ago

Sark is a great recruiter and a good developer of offensive talent outside of QB. He's a bad playcaller and a bad QB coach. He's been like that since Washington.

Firstly, Texas should be unranked after this loss. They have now lost to two straight unranked teams in back to back weeks. Secondly, Texas is in real trouble based on their upcoming schedule. They still have to play versus Ole Miss, versus Mississippi State, @ Missouri, @ LSU, and @ Texas A&M. A&M might end the season worse than 8-4 but it would be funny as hell to see Texas go 8-4 or worse.

I think it’s glaringly obvious arch was a 1.0000 rated recruit solely off his name.

Oh well!

Awful start to the game, but unlike the last two (2) weeks, FL actually fought back after they were punched in the mouth. 1st top 10 win on the road since 2012 for FL. Unreal. Go Gators.

Texas’s defensive line’s behavior at the end of the game was pathetic. I didn’t care who won or lost but after what I just saw, I’m glad they lost and I wish they lost by more!

I get the feeling there are exactly two good teams named Alabama and Georgia and everyone else is involved in the great 2026 college football circus.

But also lmao Texas I love when teams commit to doing funny things

72

u/stupidgts Florida Gators • Okefenokee Oar 1h ago

I really wish I could argue this, but I absolutely cannot. I'm just excited that our first year head coach already has this team at more wins at this point in the season than our previous coach had all season last year.

Florida doesn’t deserve hype but I do think Sumrall and Faulkner should get credit for making some key second half adjustments. The offense was humming along and reliably chewing clock after being largely incompetent in the first half
