I get the feeling there are exactly two good teams named Alabama and Georgia and everyone else is involved in the great 2026 college football circus.

The more things change the more they stay the same

This sub is just a bunch of homers from their respective team subs on game day. They only watch their team and look at box scores

I don't even look at box scores, I just come on here to get my wildly inaccurate takes.

I take offense to that. But I am also not sure if you’re wrong

Quality loss still though

OSU was the better team in that game

And yet

The computers still absolutely love Texas for some reason. I don't get it. They're the only team in that top tier of 7 teams separated from everyone else that just looks baffling.

I imagine that OSU win is doing some heavy lifting here

It was by 1 at home, which the computers view as a loss given they give you 3 extra points for home field advantage. I guess playing them close does enough? I expect them to drop off a cliff this week in ratings.

I’d suspect somewhere between 10-15

Because the talent ratings are through the roof. It really shows how bad Sark is as a coach.

Thank you for saying this. Arch has been awful, but coaching is what matters most in college. Sark has got a huge pass because of the last name being Manning. He was awful the two years we made the playoff and arguably fucked up Ewers development and didn't get the most out of him

It's baffling to me because they keep praising Texas and crapping on Tennessee, which I know we aren't good. However, both UTs are literally the same - crappy offensive line, horrible QB play but good defense.

I think Miami is good.

I bet that hurt. If it helps I had to cheer for yall today. After the meteor of course.

Only team to win every game by at least 2 touchdowns

don't look at our schedule

18

u/BillyBobChorton Georgia Bulldogs 1h ago

But yet we need a 24 team playoff so 3 and 4 loss teams can get a mulligan on the season

You mean Cinderella isn't going to put on her running shoes and run the bracket?!?!

TCU style

7

u/The_Big_Untalented Alabama Crimson Tide 1h ago

Notre Dame is pretty good too. But yeah, not a lot of great teams at the top.

8

u/Tsquared10 Oregon Ducks • Montana State Bobcats 1h ago

I'll put them there if they beat BYU tonight, but right now all they've done is beat up on mid teams

4

u/MultiPass21 1h ago

Maybe. They need to play someone first.

2

u/KirbyDumber88 Georgia Bulldogs 1h ago

As everything changes in the sport, some things remain the same.

I mean, I'm down to return to the 2016-19 football landscape

Funny how the age of mercenaries really messes with teams ability to play well together consistently

2

u/findallthebears Florida Gators • Michigan Wolverines 1h ago

Well, the first 12min of Tenn Bama has me doubting half of that

2

u/ronshasta Ohio State Buckeyes 1h ago

This comment hasn’t aged well

u/-Nocx- Texas A&M Aggies 1h ago

Don’t get ahead of yourself, there’s still time in the schedule for almost the entire SEC to tie in conference

This may be the year that the Big ten doesn't win the title, which we have held 3 years in a row now
