I don’t think the narrative should be “2nd half implosion by Texas”
It really should be “what a 2nd half comeback by Florida!”
That was an unreal road win for a team with a first year head coach - and came in on a two-game losing streak.

This was the kid’s first start… on the road… against a top 10* team. What a play he made to ice the game. 41 u/Luigis_vacuum Florida Gators 10h ago Would not be upset to see him start vs Georgia, definitely gonna be a fun two weeks of speculation 20 u/MennionSaysSo Florida Gators • Miami Hurricanes 10h ago He is certainly more explosive in the run game and has a bit stronger arm, but you can also see some of the decision making a bit better with Philo early on. I think Jones is the better longterm solution 12 u/Luigis_vacuum Florida Gators 10h ago Feel like decision is more likely to develop 4 u/anonthegreat69 10h ago For real. He came through so hard there. Go Gators. 9 u/TexasRadical83 Texas Longhorns 10h ago Philo has looked ass too. He saw his job flashing before his eyes today lol
