“Arch said he wants to be right back in that exact situation. A game on the line like it was a week ago.”

*Proceeds to have an inexplicable turnover just like he did a week ago*

This is actually a fucking comedy at this point.

Like kyrie in the playoffs saying that you'll never see him go 8 for 22 from the field ever again only to go 7 of 22 the next game

Hue Jackson promising the Browns wouldn't go 1-15 again only for them to go 0-16. Peak comedy.

u/phonage_aoi 6h ago

Best part was years later him saying he refused money to tank the season.  He lost all those games for free!

u/Geno0wl Ohio State • Cincinnati 6h ago

I wish I could be paid millions to be that terrible at my job

6

u/Zlatan_Ibrahimovic 2h ago

Did it for the love of the game.

4

u/Jepordee Ohio State Buckeyes • Ohio Bobcats 2h ago

I recommend everyone to go back and watch that hard knocks just to see how big of a fucking joke Hue Jackson is

11

u/Sufficient_Secret632 6h ago

In a time when honesty and integrity are lacking in public life, I think we should be honouring Kyrie and Hue Jackson for being men of their word rather than mocking them.

They made promises publicly and they kept them. I admire that.

Huehuehuehue

"we gonna get the ball and we are gonna score"

5

u/dtlabsa 6h ago

Tbf to Kai, he didnt go 8-22.

6

u/Umutuku 6h ago

Are you saying Manning isn't accounting for the Coriolis effect?

3

u/Viron_22 Paper Bag • Washington Huskies 5h ago

"I'm not fucking going 7-9 again."

3

u/Various-Net9757 3h ago

Reminds me of "nobody beats Vitas Gerulaitas 17 times in a row!"

2

u/JohnNRWayne8419 3h ago

Fun (or not) fact:  This was only true before he played Borg 17 times.

2

u/caveat_emptor817 TCU Horned Frogs 5h ago

Ok but Kyrie can ball. Arch sucks.

kyrie in the playoffs saying that you'll never see him go 8 for 22 from the field ever again only to go 7 of 22 the next game

Wait I don't watch NBA, is this real life? Bc that's obscene peak comedy

1

u/Kyler1313 2h ago

Yes. It was when he was a part of the Boston Celtics and they lost in 5 to the Milwaukee Bucks. Went 6-21 the game after the previous 2 mentioned and they got eliminated, and Kyrie never played another game for Boston

This is all scripted or God is a humorist or we are in the Matrix. You make the call.

15

u/RxngsXfSvtvrn BCS Championship 7h ago

I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours

But I think that God's got a sick sense of humour

And when I die, I expect to find him laughing

1

u/wote89 Vanderbilt • South Alabama 6h ago

Frankly, He better be, 'cause I'll be laughing, too.

A Manning losing to the Gators is scripted. By Steve Spurrier.

24

u/Honest-Enthusiasm 7h ago

It's almost like he's a mediocre player with a famous name on his jersey.

15

u/flyntcoaltrane UTSA Roadrunners 7h ago

I heard that too and the fumble happened almost immediately right after. I think Arch just has a humiliation kink

7

u/novakanesantiago Florida Gators 7h ago

Texted my gf "here comes the turnover" literally one second before the play lmfaooooo

Tessitore can't help but say the wrong thing at the right time its so funny

2

u/f0rthegl0ry Penn State Nittany Lions 5h ago

Wasn't he the one who made the "Sam Darnold wouldn't have it any other way" call, too? He's cursed

5

u/WiseDonkey593 Florida Gators • Pittsburgh Panthers 7h ago

Why would you want to be in that position? I'd rather the game be well in my control.

5

u/holymacaronibatman Texas Longhorns 6h ago

Thats exactly what I said when the announcers mentioned that. Like fuck no I would much rather by up by 50 with 2 minutes left, wtf are doing

12

u/LordoftheScheisse Missouri Tigers • Illinois Fighting Illini 7h ago

Arch is hctulc - the exact opposite of clutch.

5

u/ogpeplowski64 Oklahoma • Cal Poly Pomona 5h ago

my brain wanted to read that as cthulhu so bad

Funniest comic in Austin

2

u/Big-Ground-426 6h ago

Do they finally see that arch manning isn't the scond coming of football-throwing Jesus...? Is it agreed that 7 mill for that performance is worse than 3 mill for Marcell "throw in the ground" reed?

1

u/Cheap_Composer_3293 7h ago

To be fair the o line was trash.

1

u/Finn_Ajerkit Miami (OH) RedHawks • The CW 7h ago

Strike three, and he knew it. Didn't even get the bat off his shoulder.

1

u/VampireEmpire__ Texas Longhorns • Harvard Crimson 6h ago

We weren’t going to convert anyway. He had taken a sack. Don’t know what’s going on out there.

1

u/AKblazer45 USC Trojans 6h ago

We want the ball and we’re gonna score

1

u/phranq Miami Hurricanes • Boise State Broncos 6h ago

Florida blew a coverage on 4th and 7 and then fumbled the ball immediately on their possession after being up 10 with 4 mins left. They were trying to let Texas in but Arch literally fumbled the opportunity.

1

u/JobEducational5860 6h ago edited 6h ago

In what universe does Manning lose the ball to lose 24-27 both times? An archie-led reality

1

u/Dirt-Southern Texas Longhorns • Stanford Cardinal 6h ago

Arch needs milk and a bed time. Our rivals are correct.

1

u/admiraltarkin Texas A&M • Prairie View A&M 5h ago

I wish I could make fun but I have a worse QB and has never beaten y'all so....

1

u/WeAreGray Stanford Cardinal 5h ago

At this point people need to check Kalshi and Polymarket to see if Arch has an account.

1

u/Adventurous_Try_4626 4h ago

He never said he was going to do anything different...and he didn't. A+ for consistency. 🙄

1

u/eetsumkaus California • 立命館大学 (Ritsumeikan) 4h ago edited 4h ago

Did they have another "Sam Darnold wouldn't want it any other way" moment?

1

u/PentiumDos Washington Huskies 3h ago

Sam Darnold is that you

u/cantevendoitbruh Louisville • Alabama 1h ago

The Hasselback! "We want the ball and were gonna score". Proceeds to throw a pick 6

1

“Ok, third time’s the charm, fellas!”

Reminds me of the "Sam Darnold wouldn't have it any other way" followed immediately by a sack-fumble from like a decade ago 😭😭😭
