How did this team beat Ohio State?

20

u/oSuJeff97 Oklahoma State Cowboys • Hateful 8 2h ago

Because they just happened to catch the one quarter of good Texas football all year.

u/bit_pusher Texas Longhorns • Red River Shootout 1h ago

This

u/rykcon Ohio State Buckeyes • Ohio Bobcats 16m ago

Texas’ best quarter of football and OSU’s worst quarter just happened to occur at the exact same time. Perfect storm.

Lineman that were conditioned for 2 quarters of play instead of 4.

u/breakfastBiscuits Oklahoma Sooners • Big 8 2h ago

Was a hundred degrees that night in Austin is all I can figure

This is it. A lot of the time they had Jeremiah on camera that game he looked exhausted

u/AKblazer45 USC Trojans 2h ago

Northern team playing down south early in the season, ran out of gas in the 4th quarter.

Because this year's squad isn't as good as the last 2.

u/chillmagic420 Kentucky Wildcats 2h ago

Yeah im not sold on the B1G this year, or the SEC really. Might be a ND or Miami year for a natty

An ND title would make me truly sick. Need BYU to save us tonight

Yes. They won’t even be in the semis.

ND has played NOBODY so far. Nobody.

Definitely not sold on big ten Ohio state is the best team and lost to Texas. Nobody looks good at all in the big ten. I think the sec is just deep, besides maybe 3 teams basically everyone can beat/compete with everyone. Meanwhile in the big ten you can almost sim every week, Ohio state and Indiana are the best but they both look a lot worse this year.

SEC looks like shit too

They caught lightning in a bottle

How did Florida get dog walked by … Shane Beamer on the verge of being fired

5

u/Temporary_Inner Oklahoma • Central Oklahoma 2h ago

Because Florida's secondary is dog shit but Arch is so bad he couldn't navigate it

1

u/DBowieNippleAntennae Florida Gators 56m ago

I’m still stunned Texas doesn’t use Arch as much as they should in the designed QB run game. That’s UF’s ultimate weakness and why Mateer will (or should) kill us.

2

u/Temporary_Inner Oklahoma • Central Oklahoma 7m ago

Arbuckle hates doing it too because of the injury risks, but Texas had two entire quarters without scoring. It's time.

1

u/dinosaurkiller Oklahoma Sooners 55m ago

We still have to play Florida AND we have a QB just like that, probably worse

1

u/Temporary_Inner Oklahoma • Central Oklahoma 2m ago

Our defense is better than Texas and we will actually activate the QB run if we have to but they're still super scary.

2

u/bcou2012 Cincinnati Bearcats • Ohio Bobcats 2h ago

OSU is below their usual standard too

2

u/Patrick2701 Notre Dame • North Central (IL) 2h ago

Ryan Dayism

u/Confident_Age_6957 2h ago

Because our QB and coach are as terrible as theirs.

1

u/timelessblur Texas Tech Red Raiders 1h ago

I think Ohio State must of had a really bad day

1

u/rgvtim Texas A&M Aggies • SEC 1h ago

Dumb luck

1

u/sixtoebandit Washington State Cougars 1h ago

One wish willow stick maybe?

1

u/NewGirlDad314 26m ago

I had a bet on OSU to win. I had a bet on Texas today. When I tell people I have serious power, this is what I mean.

-3

u/Harunasbabydaddy Texas Longhorns 2h ago

Because Ohio st is not that good either. USC will blow out Ohio st.

5

u/DFWTrojanTuba USC Trojans • Marching Band 2h ago

You have way more faith in my team than I do.

2

u/Tomatillo12475 USC Trojans 2h ago

We’re not even on Oregon’s level. Indiana and Ohio State are going to destroy us

1

u/BoJackPoliceman 2h ago

Who is actually good this year then?

2

u/DFWTrojanTuba USC Trojans • Marching Band 2h ago

Georgia?

1

u/ClevelandSteamers757 Ohio State Buckeyes 5m ago

We sure ?

1

u/CheaterSaysWhat Ohio State Buckeyes 2h ago

If Sayin is out for the season they might

Otherwise Jeremiah might put 300 yards on em

3

u/DFWTrojanTuba USC Trojans • Marching Band 2h ago

Our secondary is terrible.
